I have got the hand blender just over a year ago and it is still going very strong. I do 100% agree with all my previous reviewers about the ease of use, ease of cleaning, the powerful motor...
However there are few things why I can not give 5 stars. First the plastic-it feels flimsy and it is flimsy. Make sure you don't abuse the jars and do never start the engine until you are 100% sure it is all locked. Second the space-all accessories fill almost a whole cupboard. Each item has to be stored separately. There is no way you could stack them together. Third owners laziness-if you are tempted like me to put too much or too big pieces into the jugs the machine is not very forgiving and forces you to empty everything, take the blades out, chop things up and basically start from scratch again. I thought a little overspill could be designed into the product ;).

Three years later-I am still happy. Everything is going strong and nothing has broken.

I was given a BRAUN MR5550 M BC-HC (Multiquick Professional Hand Blender)as a present, around ayear ago. The blender shaft has developped a fault. The plastic bit that connects to the motor is broken ans as a result the blender is useless. The shaft disconnected from the motor base while in use (scary!!). It looks as if it is a design fault.

I bought this product after reading all the overwhelming and unanimously positive feedback from people who`d bought it.I can honestly say that i don`t know why i never got one of these before.It is a work of pure ergonomic and simplistic genius!
Chopping and liquidising is so now simple and soooo fast working with both the handmixer and the handmixer fitted to the compact attached jugs (large and small size)that blending and processing need never again be a bit of a palaver.This truly is a product of genius and is surely the apogee, and acme of food handblending equipment.This product can quite honestly make a significant and positive impact on the complexion of someones day to day life.It is a genuine bargain at the price and is easily worth every penny.One tip! Buy this blender and type in `best smoothie recipes` on an internet search engine.You will be good to go!!! Ahhh this is the life.

I am a kitchen gadget fanatic, however, I do not buy equipement just for the sake of having it!. Because I am wheelchair bound, and have limited movement of my hands, my gadgets have to perform their duties very well indeed. This outfit by Braun is a dream to use. It is very easy to put together the various parts for the various applications that I need to use it for. It has one of the most, if not the most powerful motor for a small kitchen gadget on the market. I love it!.
Consequently both for ease of use and indeed the price, I would recommend this gadget to anyone.
