5 out of 5 stars Fascinating story   September 12, 2005

I bought this book and immediately started reading chapter after chapter. I found it very "un-put-down-able" (to use Robert Carlyle's character's non-word when referencing another MS-related book in the excellent 'Go Now'). I mean, I've got MS myself, I'd intended to read the first chapter and go to sleep, I had to get up early the next day for work ... and I still found myself reading up until 3 o'clock in the morning.

Everyone with MS (or affected by MS, as Mary Boyle Bradley is) has their own story to tell. Mary's one, as covered in the book, runs from roughly 1990 to the present day. Its only in the last few years that her husband, Noel, has started taking the new drug, LDN. But the story up until he did is fascinating for all its plot changes, decisions, dilemmas and, above all, humanity.

Truly, a great read.

I am a practicing GP and have found this book very well written and informative. I have since prescribed LDN for 2 of may patients with early onset of Rheumatoid Arthritis with immediate relief of symptoms of joint stiffness, pain and tiredness. Clinically it works and it has very few side effects....encourage your GP to give it a try and you will be amazed!
Well done in writing this brave and inspiring account of how to beat Ms and many other Autoimmune diseases.
