A Primary Maths MUST HAVE!! September 30, 2007 I was a Leading Mathematics Teacher and provided demonstation lessons for many teachers needing support to improve teaching and learning in maths.
This book can help teachers find the important missing concepts that may have been missed in prior learning and move their children forward. I am asking my staff to use this book alongside the new Primary Framework to target children's learning needs and help with personalised learning.
Go on - buy it - you won't regret it!
An excellent first port of call! June 29, 2000 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
This is a very handy first reference point when introducing or developing mathematical concepts in the primary classroom. I would recommend this as an aid to any primary teacher's planning as progression in all areas of mathematics are clearly set out- often breaking them down into smaller steps than you would think such topics as, for example, capacity or volume could be. As a PGCE student I have found this an essenital resource to aid my short-term planning and will be using it as my first reference in my NQT year.
