My one area of criticism would be that the ‘all new, fully updated,’ claims of the guide are not quite true. There is no mention of the splendid new seashore reserve at Crissy Field by the base of the Golden Gate for instance & the claimed exhibition on Treasure Island about the sailing ships is long gone. I felt that equipped with the 4th edition of this guide I did not really need to shell out for this one because on this visit I didn’t find much that was new .
