Warwicks love of art, music, nature and history oozes from every page and is cleverly combined with cutting insight into contemporary culture to produce a captivating book that both entertains and educates. At his first attempt he has produced a rare treat for all lovers of quality travel literature. Move over Bill Bryson, Warwick Allen has arrived. PS your mother almost caught me crashing the yoghurt truck when your new copy of Fun Bags Monthly arrived last week, fortunately rag week hard started early and she was preoccupied with searching for a slim fanatella.
