It's a pretty poor piece of equipment - poorly built. It does not charge ipods whilst in their docks. Tried it on both a nano and 80G classic. Charges them both seperately though.

In my view, this is a superb product! It is most certainly well designed: I've found it more efficient than charging my iPod Classic 80GB in a dock. It's conveniently portable; my colleagues continually comment on its transparency and its sort of sky blue florescent glow. I must agree with the reviewer who indicates this product does well what it was designed to do. I can only imagine that a 1 star rating must have been the result of a one off faulty item.

Excellent product and does the job that it was intended for,ie charge my Ipod.It was purchased from here and arrived within 3 days,packaged securely,plugged it in and charged my Ipod,dont know why the other reviewer had such a problem,maybe just one of those things as they electronic items do come out faulty sometimes.

I am very disappointed with the IPOD white classic charger, last night I used the charger for the first time and to my horror after a nights charging the front of the charger had broken away from the charger unit leaving exposed wires. On examination the plastic around the screws had broken away causing the unit to fall apart.
What is even more worrying this charger had been passed and had its quality sticker on it still.
