An ideal follow up to this book is Jack Hargreaves - A Portrait by Paul Peacock. It is the biography of this fascinating character and is published by Farming Books and Videos Ltd.

If you love everything about the countryside, the way it used to be and the characters that used to live in it. Then you will treasure this book, Jack Hargreaves has a wonderful way of telling the stories of old, just like when he presented the television programme of the same name, this book flows the same way. An absolute must to have in your library that you can return to again and again
