4 out of 5 stars House Extras   August 2, 2008
I found this film very funny with its dark humour. There are genuinely scary moments. You get the best effect of these if you watch House late at night with all the lights off!

On a technical note, I have the 2006 edition of House and there are certainly no extras. There was a version released in 2002. It appears that the 2002 edition is the one with the extras.

3 out of 5 stars Good entertainment for the price   April 1, 2005

This 1980's comedy horror is quite entertaining as far as horror films from this time period generally go. There are many amusing parts in the film and the acting is, quite naturally, not the best in the world. But hey, that's only to be expected. House makes up for these let downs since it becomes so comical in parts and the viewer just has to laugh. For the price, it's a pretty good deal.

4 out of 5 stars Great film (with good extras)   February 14, 2004

Having read the only other review for this film, I have to agree with everything said about it. Except for the extras, unless the review was watching a diferent version of this dvd,I find the extras plentiful and interesting. 2 trailers, photo and stills, the making of house feature, commentary x2, and newly created 5.1, and widescreen, not bad for a little now horror! from the mid eighties.

3 out of 5 stars Very good and Fun film let down by lack of extras on the DVD   June 29, 2001

This is a great movie to watch. It can be suspensful in parts but above all it is highly enjoyable to watch. It has a imagitive plot and decent effects. The DVD is sharp and well recorded, but there is a dissapointing lack of extras on the disc. Only a photo library, or chapter selection, not even a Trailer, or behind the scenes or anything. 4/5 for film itself and a 2/5 for the actual DVD disc.
