The shame is that CBS, the network for whom the show was made, got cold feet and pulled the plug at the end of the first season, despite almost universal critical acclaim. Now is your chance, if you haven't already done so, to appreciate this terrific show which, from the opening, adrenaline-filled ten minutes, never fails to thrill. Watch out especially for Gary Basaraba as the paternalistic, dry-witted bear of a desk sergeant, one of the best performances in any TV show in recent memory.
