A classic M-G-M musical of comedy and drama with the timeless talent of Judy Garland.
The cast is wonderful. Miss Garland is carefree as the witty, strong minded Susan Bradley, and Virgina O'Brian + Cyd Charrise are her pals in a musical picture in a Western setting. Also seen is Ray Bolger, who starred alongside Garland years before in her masterpiece 'The Wizard of Oz' as the Scarecrow.
Judy does not seem as recklessly happy as she did in 'Meet Me in St. Louis' but still appears to be having a good time as she belts out the film's hit song 'On the Atchison, Topeka + the Santa Fe'.
