Roger's performance is typical of his own inimitable style but he has'nt really been afforded the great film roles that he deserves and which we have grown to love him in. At most this is a pleaseant film and good old fashion harmless fun.

Sir George (Roger Moore) fakes his own death so that his estate will go to the winners of the "Megathon", a pseudo-Olympics event. His three step-children are forced to compete in a variety of winter-type sports against top athletes representing other companies George owed debts to, so that they can gain their inheritance. Set amongst the snowy Alpine mountains and ravines, the race's lack of rules make it threateningly dangerous. Over 100 stunts in the the film are directed by legendary Willy Bogner. Great action scences. Also known as: Feuer, Eis & Dynamit.
