5 out of 5 stars Excellent   December 24, 2006

Having had the videos forced apon me by a family friend with a silent wink. Coming from someone that has never once given me a video I have managed to watch all the way through I sat down to watch it without much hope that it would be any good.
However I was much mistaken. I found myself sitting on the sofa and watching all 6 episodes after each other on the same night.

It follows twin girls (not identical) An up and coming rock n' roll band appear in town, they fall in love, fall out of love, overcome disasters and finally run away from home leaving a bossy grandmother and a scary husband behind and follow the band to london where the tale only twists more before coming to a dramatic end.

And as if for added bonus you get to see Joe Mcfadden in the nude, heaven.

I sat down to watch the first episode of this series with littleenthusiasm. Although the trailers for it had looked good, the title ofthe show did nothing for me. I couldn't have been more wrong. This is byfar one of the best series the BBC have chugged out for years.Fast pacedfrom the beginning, each week kept you entertained for the full hour. Unlike other series, you were on the edge of your seat by the end of eachepisode and wishing away the week until the next one, in book terms it was'unputdownable'. Dissappointed that it came to an end so quickly butnicely finished and not 'overdone' like some.
A brilliant series, highly recommended and don't let the title put youoff!
