5 out of 5 stars The power of the BBC natural history programme   April 24, 2008
When you see that a natural history programme has been created by the BBC you expect a high quality production. This one sends shivers down your spine in places due to superb cinematography and is no exception to the rule.

5 out of 5 stars Simply fantastic   March 25, 2008

It's really an amazing series of documentaries. Dr Iain Stewart is very enthusiastic and it's great to see and hear people like him, even more on this kind of scientific topics. I ordered the DVDs without having seen the documentaries on TV. I was looking for something about our home planet, the way it was formed, shaped and still is, about the elements and their effects, something about the earth itself, something complementary to Deep Blue and Planet Earth. With that series, I've found what I was looking for. It's not just about global warming, whether natural or not. It's about our world in which we live even if where we are we can't see it because of all the concrete around us.

BRILLIANT - a must see, in laymans language, breathtaking stuff. One is being educated without knowing it - treat yourself, you will not be disappointed - five stars is not enough.

5 out of 5 stars Quite breathtaking!   March 8, 2008

Everything about this mini-series is quite exceptional; the photography, the sound quality, and the first class presentation by Dr. Stewart. I'm so pleased that he got an new species of ant named after him. He worked very hard to find it.

Anyone with the slightest interest in our quite fascinating planet just has to get hold of this product and treasure it. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Brilliant BBC!
