Never rely on the kindness of strangers January 29, 2003
This movie would put you off petrol stations for life. Who knows where the Roy Scudder's of this world [ Burt Reynolds ] are lurking? When Cassie Osborne [ Mia Sara ] and her daughter , quite literally take a wrong turn, they are going to be cast into the twilight zone of Roy's life. Will Cassie's husband save the day? Watch it and see. The film is deeply disturbing in parts, so be warned. Strong character acting from Reynolds and Angie Dickenson [ who plays Roy's deranged wife ] Don't expect Deliverance, do though expect a chill and some macabre humour.
