Two short films, one directed by Peter Greenaway ("M..."), the other featuring music by Michael Nyman ("Letters...") both shed new light on the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In "Letters, Riddles and Writs" Ute Lemper portrays the famous composer excellently, while the issue of plagiarism is challenged from a highly unusual perspective... Music and picture combine exquisitely in both shorts, underlining the artistry of both Greenaway and Nyman as well as solidifying Lemper's position as an outstanding singer and actress.
